Unified Special Olympics basketball at Texas A&M University brings together Texas A&M students and adults with intellectual disabilities—known as the Aggie Bombers—to compete as teammates on and off the court. Offered through Texas A&M Recreational Sports in partnership with Special Olympics Texas, the program emphasizes inclusion, teamwork and respect while developing basketball skills and building friendships. Unified athletes celebrate the joy of sport and the power of shared achievement in a supportive, spirited Aggie environment.

What athletes need: Athletic shorts, a T-shirt and supportive, non-marking basketball or athletic shoes. Team uniforms (pinnies) and basketballs are provided.

Season 

The season runs from early February through March: All teams play on Monday evenings from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Texas A&M Student Recreation Center on West Campus. (187 Corrington Dr. in College Station across the street from Reed Arena.) Paid parking is available in the West Campus Garage. Some Texas A&M permits work in that garage.
